About us

Mosaic. A mosaic is an ancient art from that is made through broken, fragmented, and isolated pieces. Through the hands of a master artist these pieces are brought together to create something beautiful, especially when light strikes through it.

We are a mosaic of broken fragmented people in the hands of the Master Artist. As we follow Christ, we believe that He is making something beautiful and astounding through us, even with all our differences and rough edges.

Who we are.  We are a small church that launched in February 2007, just north of the city of Toronto. We believe Mosaic a movement sparked by the Creator of the universe, fused together by the person of Jesus, and fueled forward by the Spirit of God. We seek to serve the city of Toronto and beyond as a community of faith, love, and hope, by helping unleash the God-given dreams of those who choose to participate.

Affiliations. No one church can fully express what God is doing on our planet.  We strive to be continually connected with other church networks.  We are currently affiliated with the Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada, the Willow Creek Association, and The Origins Network. What we believe. This is our statement of faith.  Note that it’s incredibly difficult to reduce the immensity of who God is to us through a set of propositional statements.  You might be able to get a better glimpse of how we find ourselves in the story of God in our narrative theology.  Better yet, come hear our hearts and see what we do face to face.
