Yes, that’s right. There will not be “Sunday church” on Dec. 2 @ 10:30am @ the Monte Carlo Inn. Instead of having “church”, we will be church on this day.
To most people, “church” means simply gathering together on Sunday mornings to go through the worship rituals in a church building. After the Sunday worship, life will go back to the usual routine which has little, if any, to do with Jesus Christ and his mission. However, church is the body of Christ Jesus that gathers and scatters in the name of Jesus Christ.
No “Sunday church” is a day to keep us faithful as church that gathers to worship and scatters to proclaim Jesus. You are encouraged to do the following for the day:
- Have a personal time of worship in the morning
- Spend time connecting with friends you might not typically see on a Sunday and be a blessing
- Join with fellow Mosaic Baptists to worship and share about the lunch experience @5:30pm @ the Monte Carlo Inn
- Have dinner fellowship together @7:00pm @ Henry and Donna Chow’s
